Job Description As a Security Officer - Full Time Days in Lincoln Park, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors, respond to concerns with clear communication, and document observations and/or incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and/or directing individuals to appropriate areas while supporting privacy and confidentiality expectations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating with on-site staff and emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Complete required reports and logs, support investigations by preserving observations and available information, and participate in post orders, briefings, and/or required training.
