As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, managing access control and badge checks, and assisting with screening processes such as X-ray when needed. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, drivers and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Operate screening checkpoints by verifying identification and access authorization, screening personnel and/or items as required, and directing traffic flow in accordance with post orders.
Monitor entry and exit points, maintain required logs and documentation, and report irregular activity that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or loss.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying supervision and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
