As a Security Officer - Overnight Medical Center Patrol in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help monitor entry activity, support access screening, and assist with security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, patients, and/or vendors at designated entry points, verify access requirements, and report concerns according to site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff and appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and surrounding assigned areas, document observations, and help to deter unauthorized access through a visible security-related presence.
  • Support a professional environment by giving directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related procedures for guests and staff.
