About The Position

We are currently looking for a full-time Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of guests and employees, their property, and the property of the College Park Holiday Inn Hotel. This includes supporting other department's activities to help assure the highest levels of guest and employee service.

Requirements

Education High school diploma or equivalent.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends.

Nice To Haves

Some college preferred.
Prior security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Securing the hotel by patrolling and inspecting the property, monitoring surveillance equipment and access points.
Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities
informing violators of the hotel's policies and procedures; restraining trespassers.
Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses and obtaining signatures.
