Job Description As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to provide a reassuring presence, and deliver excellent customer service while supporting a collaborative, people-first culture built on integrity and innovation.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuations and/or other procedures as necessary.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors, providing assistance and information as needed.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to maintain a secure environment at the location.
