Job Description As a Security Officer in Lewisville, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech and media location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies while supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide a sense of security-related assurance to employees and visitors.
Document all security-related activities, incidents, and/or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
