About The Position

As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to provide a reassuring presence, and deliver excellent customer service while supporting a collaborative, people-first culture built on integrity and innovation.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid are preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuations and/or other procedures as necessary.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to maintain a secure environment at the location.
