As an Access Control Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, greet employees and visitors, and document activity with clear, professional communication. You will conduct routine rounds to help identify security-related concerns, respond to alarms and incidents, and partner with site teams to support smooth operations. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
- Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries, shipments, and service vehicles by checking documentation, coordinating with site contacts, and reporting irregularities per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns through the appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify unusual conditions, and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
