Security Officer - Casual Hours (72969)
About The Position
The Security Officer will provide a secure environment during scheduled hours during the night shift. Assures that incoming and outgoing staff are secure in reaching their cars or the Hospital building safely. The Security Officer has contact with Hospital employees, visitors, and patients. The incumbent has access to confidential information and must be able to maintain confidences. The employee must adhere to all safety related policies and procedures. We would love to have you join our close-knit Facilities Management team! Shifts: This is a casual role (less than 32 hours biweekly). Varied shifts including weekends. Shift times include 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.
Requirements
- To perform in this position satisfactorily prefers a high school or equivalent level of education, and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- This position requires current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
- Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
