As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. You will remain highly visible, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points within a chemical and petrochemical environment.
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, offering assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for emergency response.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance needs within the location.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
