As a Security Officer - Medical Center - Overnight Shift in Frankfort, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located for driving positions.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and/or provided as a condition of assignment.
  • This position is located in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas while maintaining awareness of visitor activity, access control concerns, and/or potential policy violations.
  • Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation, and reporting of security-related concerns involving patients, visitors, staff, and/or property.
