Security Officer
About The Position
WE HAVE FOUR OPENINGS ON 3 SHIFTS. Perform security patrols. Check Badges and IDs. Protect property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, etc. Ensure unauthorized individuals do not enter company premises. Prevent workplace violence and intervene in such circumstances. Investigate and record accidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security related situations. Collaborate in training efforts for newly hired officers. Report all security related incidents to management. Receive and transfer inbound calls. Receive and sign for FedEx and UPS packages. Release and weighs trucks. Monitor camera footage. All other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required, with technical training preferred
- No criminal record, with ability to pass state and federal background check and drug screening required
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Nice To Haves
- Military, security and/or law enforcement experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
