About The Position

Berman Security Agency, LLC is seeking experienced and professional Security Officers to work Part-Time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This position is responsible for the surveillance and protection of our premises, as well as ensuring the safety of our residents, staff, and visitors. Please note, Berman reserves the right to adjust employees' work designations and assignments, including shifts and locations, as required by operational needs. Essential Employee Designation: Essential employees are defined as those whose job functions are critical to the active operation of Berman and its subsidiaries. They are required to report to work during business closures to support operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of security experience; prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • For driving positions: A valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record.
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to maintain professionalism in all situations.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work any shift as required.
  • Compliance with state/local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including cold, rain, or heat.
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as necessary during shifts.
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for prolonged periods.

Nice To Haves

  • prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible, professional presence while on post or patrol, engaging with guests and employees and demonstrating knowledge of the property.
  • Protect company assets and preserve the confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Foster a respectful and collaborative team environment to support shared goals and uphold company standards.
  • Respond to complaints and emergency situations in a professional, composed manner; handle accidents, contact EMS, administer first aid/CPR if necessary, gather information, and complete incident reports.
  • Operate motor vehicles as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats, including answering telephones with proper etiquette.
