About The Position
Under the general direction of the Director of Security, the security officer is responsible for monitoring all areas of EMC hospital, Clinics and Nursing Home in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees. The role also involves monitoring parking facilities and pedestrian and vehicle traffic in accordance with department and EMC policy. The security officer is an employee of Emanuel Medical Center and is expected to follow the policies and procedures of the facility.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- No license required
