As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, respond to questions and concerns, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and support badge and key control processes as directed.
  • Observe and report suspicious behavior, policy non-compliance, and security-related concerns, and complete accurate shift reports, incident reports, and activity logs.
