Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology and media location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, office areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information when required, and support lobby, reception, and after-hours coverage based on site needs.
• Assist with incident reporting, policy reminders, and general security-related support for employees and guests while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced corporate environment.
