As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and customer service skills will support the well-being of everyone on site. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as part of a caring, reliable, and innovative team. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.21 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
A New York State Security Guard License is required.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related breaches.
Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding staff and visitors during drills and/or real emergency situations.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site-specific procedures.
Collaborate with medical staff, visitors, and other personnel to maintain a welcoming and orderly environment.
