As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, maintaining high visibility, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication-all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and helping to direct visitors and staff as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders to support a secure and orderly environment.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
