Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Site - Full Time in Orange, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, offering you the opportunity to be active and engaged throughout your shift as you support a secure atmosphere for all.

Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activities according to established protocols.
Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel to relay important information and updates.
Document observations, incidents, and activities thoroughly as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
