As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve managing access points, responding to alarms, and assisting visitors and employees. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises according to site-specific policies.
Assist in carrying out security-related procedures and protocols relevant to chemical and petrochemical environments.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by addressing inquiries and offering guidance related to access control and site policies.
Document and report all security-related activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
