About The Position

As a Security Officer - Morning Shift in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your team, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism and strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by following post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials as directed, manage visitor and contractor entry procedures, and document deliveries and pickups according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when needed and documenting actions taken.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate key information during shift transitions, and operate site systems such as cameras, radios, and alarm panels for security-related operations.
