About The Position

The Security Officer monitors all casino areas to ensure safety and security. Retention incentives available for this position! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safeguards assets of the company. Provides for the protection of guests, employees, and property. Patrols assigned areas and assists guests and team members as needed. Examines doors, windows, gates, etc, to ensure they are secure May occasionally perform other safety incidental duties, only when guest safety is an issue Completes the inspection procedures for used cards and dice, if authorized. Completes the canceling or destroying procedures for cards and dice, if authorized. Other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work demands
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Must be detail oriented
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months' security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
  • Missouri Gaming Level II Gaming License required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbal and written.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Planning, remembering details, using arithmetic, reading, directing others, making decisions, working rapidly, working at various tempos, concentrating amid distractions, remembering faces and names, examining and observing details
  • Standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, carrying, pulling, hearing, sitting, bending, stooping, observing, stretching, pushing, turning, balancing
