Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a chemical and petrochemical location. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and reports with clear communication. By logging observations, controlling access points, and assisting employees and visitors with customer-focused service, you will bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to life through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, processing areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help identify irregular conditions and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and maintain visitor and/or vehicle logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete routine shift documentation, incident reports, and pass-down communication using required systems and/or paper logs.
