As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and provide clear, professional customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
Conduct access control and visitor management, including checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing badges and/or temporary passes and maintaining required logs.
Perform regular and random foot patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, notifying appropriate contacts and coordinating with responding personnel as directed.
Monitor alarms, doors, gates and camera systems when assigned, and complete timely reports of patrols, incidents, hazards and maintenance concerns per post orders.
