For positions involving guardhouse and scale duties at the local company, the pay rate for guardhouse will be $16.63 and for the scale will be $19.95 per hour. For this position, you will be working in both the scale house and guardhouse and be available all shifts. Openings available: Security Guardhouse - Part-Time: Pay Rate: $16.63/hour Security Guardhouse - Full-Time: Thurs and Fri 10pm-6am plus Sat and Sun 6pm-6am (40 hrs per week) Responsibilities: <li>Staff the facility's single point of entry, verify vehicle passes, and issue visitor passes. Provide directions and maintain a secure environment by preventing unauthorized access. Monitor the weather alert system and track open confined spaces. Serve as liaison between the fire department and SDI personnel when necessary.

Requirements

MUST have a valid driver's license.
MUST HAVE COMPUTER EXPERIENCE Including but not limited to typing and math skills, Microsoft Word, excel, and outlook.
The position requires you to be standing/walking for extended periods of time.
18 years of age or older
Familiarity with security equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong attention to detail
Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.
Must have good computer and typing skills

Responsibilities

Staff the facility's single point of entry, verify vehicle passes, and issue visitor passes.
Provide directions and maintain a secure environment by preventing unauthorized access.
Monitor the weather alert system and track open confined spaces.
Serve as liaison between the fire department and SDI personnel when necessary.
Desk-type security greeting all visitors, employees, contractors, and truck drivers as they enter the facility
Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
Report any facility issues
Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
