As a Security Officer - Distribution Entry Control in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
- Assist with screening packages, materials, and/or personnel entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and monitor for unusual activity.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and site management to maintain a secure environment and support the overall operations of the logistics and distribution location.
