Marksman Security Corporation is Now Hiring For A 1st Shift - Unarmed Security Officer Site Location: Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Missouri - 100 Cherry Blossom Way Troy, MO 63379 Are you ready to make a difference in people’s lives? Marksman Security is looking for qualified candidates to join our team of dedicated and compassionate security officers and firefighters. Security Officer $18.50 p/hr. 1st Shift Thursday thru Monday 5:00am - 1:00pm (40 Hours) (Tuesday & Wednesday Off) The ideal candidate MUST have previous experience in security and customer service fields. Looking for passionate, skilled professionals to join our team. Must be reasonably physically fit and able to stand and walk for periods of time. Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises. Security Officer Positions: Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc. Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc. Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greeting residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
High school degree or equivalent
Valid state licensing
Professional demeanor and appearance
Basic computer skills
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Minimum of one year of customer service experience
Minimum of one year of security experience
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
Other duties to be determined by management
