Job Description As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol - Evenings in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol manufacturing, industrial, and healthcare locations, conducting routine rounds, remaining highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and documenting observations. You will greet staff and visitors, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with your team and site contacts. You will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while supporting a caring, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at industrial and healthcare locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, offices, corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and employee entry processes as directed, including verifying identification and/or authorizations in accordance with site policy.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
