Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorized access as directed by site policies, and document security-related events, observations, and/or incidents in a clear manner.
Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and following post orders designed to help protect property, personnel, and/or sensitive areas.
