As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, assisting residents and guests, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the residential community.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
Work closely with residents, property management, and/or visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
