About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Officer to join our team in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. You will be expected to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times while performing your duties. Your primary goal will be to prevent and respond to any security incidents that may arise, while also providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Security Guard license
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to climb stairs and perform repetitive motions
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Ability to reach with hands and arms

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry
• Experience with wireless technology and radio communication
• Experience with access control systems

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property
• Enforce access control policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized entry
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, including but not limited to theft, vandalism, and disturbances
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related activities
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff, including answering questions and providing directions
