Security Officer
About The Position
Security Officer Full-Time 7:30a - 8p We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to maintain a safe secure environment within the healthcare facility. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance, respond to emergencies, and facilitate conflict resolution Reports out-of-the ordinary activity in and around the hospital/grounds Respond to security and safety related emergencies Conducts investigations and completes reports Provides security escorts as needed Excellent customer service toward patients, families, and employees
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid KY driver's license with satisfactory driving record defined by Baptist Health Hardin policy is required.
- Good organizational, oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work well with others and present a professional appearance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification preferred.
