About The Position

The Security department is charged with creating and maintaining a safe environment for all of Horseshoe Baltimore's guests and employees. This department is responsible for providing superior service by seeking out opportunities to be of service, by maintaining highly visible patrols to ensure a safe gaming experience, and by assuring quality support to other departments so that they may serve guests more effectively. They are also in charge of maintaining public order, enforcing safety rules, protecting property and assets, and investigating disturbances in the hotel, casino and surrounding facilities.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
Must present a well-groomed appearance
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions, when handling customer and employee conflicts
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must possess the ability to interact in a professional manner with the general public

Responsibilities

Enforces company security/safety regulations.
Guards transfer of money and chips from Change Booth to Main Cage.
Performs all security/safety related duties.
Represents company and its property to ensure all Casino regulations are adhered to at all times.
Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors.
Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest's wins.
Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.
Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.
