As a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, bringing a reliable, agile, and innovative approach while acting with integrity and putting people first.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support site entry and exit processes in accordance with post orders and location protocols.
• Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
