As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide clear, courteous assistance to employees and visitors. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access concerns, and operational disruptions.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility buildings, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor gates, roadways, and other controlled access points, verifying authorization and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Complete routine rounds and report observations related to perimeter integrity, doors and locks, lighting issues, and other conditions that may require attention by site contacts.
Use radio, telephone, and/or computer systems to communicate status updates, receive assignments, and document incidents per site requirements.
Write detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, documenting observations, actions taken, and notifications made.
Assist with coordinating response with site personnel and local emergency services when required, following post orders and escalation protocols.
Support a professional, customer-focused presence while enforcing site rules and responding to policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Participate in site-specific briefings, training, and post order updates to maintain knowledge of location procedures and operational changes.
