As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol aerospace and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Monitor the premises for unusual activity, reporting observations and/or incidents as required by site protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel as outlined in site guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining order during shift hours and provide information or directions to staff, visitors, and/or contractors as needed.
