As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol aerospace and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Monitor the premises for unusual activity, reporting observations and/or incidents as required by site protocols.
- Support access control procedures by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized personnel as outlined in site guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining order during shift hours and provide information or directions to staff, visitors, and/or contractors as needed.
