About The Position

As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for any unusual activity or security-related concerns and report findings as required by site protocols.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees, assisting as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
Document incidents, observations, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support overall security-related objectives at the location.
