Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Rounds in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, interact with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards, adapting to the unique environment of a chemical or petrochemical facility.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required during incidents or drills.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, patrols, and/or incidents as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing site conditions or requirements.
