About The Position

As a Security Officer - Weekdays Day Shift FT in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any incidents or irregularities according to established protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required during critical situations.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment and communication devices in accordance with company procedures.
