Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response protocols as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution and reporting as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any irregularities, adjusting patrol frequency as required by the location.
Observe and report any suspicious behaviors, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate parties promptly.
Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential issues and foster a sense of security-related assurance for tenants and visitors.
Interact professionally with tenants, visitors, and property management, addressing inquiries or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal's standards.
Document all activities, incidents, and observations in a clear and detailed manner according to company and client protocols.
Remain alert and aware of the surroundings in a commercial real estate environment, adapting to changing conditions and requirements as necessary.
