As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech and media location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with team members and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, innovation, and teamwork. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the technology and media environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to support security-related protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
