As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic tech and media location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with team members and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, innovation, and teamwork. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the technology and media environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to support security-related protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
