As a Screener at a residential community, you will greet residents and guests, verify credentials, manage access control and badges, and monitor the property for security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly with team members and community partners. Requirements

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, community policies, and post orders at an access control point.
• Screen and verify visitor access by checking identification, confirming authorization, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and documenting entries and exits in required logs and/or systems.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting onsite management and/or emergency services as needed and completing clear incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor cameras, gates, intercoms, and other access control equipment, reporting malfunctions and coordinating with appropriate contacts for repair and/or follow-up.
