About The Position

As a Security Officer - Government Site - Full Time in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post, offering you the opportunity to be active and engaged throughout your shift as you support a secure atmosphere for all.

Requirements

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities or potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activities according to established protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel to relay important information and updates.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities thoroughly as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
