The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to complete GED within six months)
  • Legal right to work in the United States
  • Reliable communication and transportation
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening (drug test, background check)

Responsibilities

  • Access Control: Manage entry and exit procedures, screen visitors and employees, and operate gates or remote access devices.
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous, respectful interactions with employees and visitors, presenting a professional image of the client and security team.
  • Monitoring & Patrols: Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to identify hazards, security violations, or unauthorized individuals; inspect buildings and grounds.
  • Incident Response: Protect evidence, secure accident or emergency scenes, and respond to fire, medical, hazardous materials, or weather-related incidents following established procedures.
  • Reporting: Prepare logs, reports, and documentation using clear grammar and professional standards; review and act on security control logs.
  • Safety Enforcement: Ensure property removal complies with client policies; direct individuals causing disturbances to leave the premises.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other security-related tasks as required by site needs.
