About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel and resort environment.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe activity on the property, and report maintenance concerns, disturbances, and/or policy violations in accordance with location procedures.
• Support hotel and resort operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and documenting security-related incidents, observations, and/or responses in required reports.
