Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related objectives of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify potential concerns.
Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.
Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities through detailed written reports as directed by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Assist with emergency response activities, including coordinating with local authorities and providing guidance to occupants as needed.
