As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Vaccinations required for hospital environment.
Ability to work in hospital morgue areas as part of security-related duties.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment as part of security-related duties.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a professional healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual situations or hazards.
Observe and report on security-related matters, documenting incidents and communicating with Allied Universal management as required.
Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials as needed, and monitoring entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
Support staff, patients, and visitors by providing assistance as needed and serving as a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location.
