As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues. You will support access and visitor processes, document incidents, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and drivers. Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the distribution location, including perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and dock areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic at entry points and high-activity areas, verifying identification and/or required documentation, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry and departure logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and/or assistance per post orders.
• Complete detailed written reports and shift logs, documenting patrol observations, security-related incidents, and any unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
