As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will be key as you interact with employees and visitors. Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the building and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
- Communicate and collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management as necessary to support security-related operations.
