Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Site in Quincy MA Tuesday - Saturday 4 PM - 12 AM Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available Candidate is Required to Have 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience As a Security Officer - in Quincy, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or granting access as required by site policies.
• Support emergency preparedness by participating in drills and following established protocols during actual events.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
